About Me

Winter Me 1
My interest in photography began early, but it truly came to life during a honeymoon trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Those first moments along the rugged coastline and quiet forest trails of Maine sparked a creative connection I’ve followed ever since. Returning year after year, and eventually making Downeast Maine our home with my wife and our 2 fir babies. I found endless inspiration in the textures, light, and natural rhythm of this landscape.
Living in such a visually rich region provides constant opportunities to capture serene moments—sunlight filtering through birches, snow-covered paths winding through conservation land, the ever-changing character of the sea and sky. I work primarily with natural light and local subject matter, focusing on compositions that invite quiet reflection and a sense of place.
My photography is both a creative outlet and a way of sharing the beauty I see every day. Whether it’s a rugged shoreline, a trail deep in the woods, or a still winter morning, my goal is to create images that feel timeless—simple, grounded, and real.
Thank you for exploring this visual journey with me.

Blue Hill Heritage Trust

The landscapes I photograph are deeply connected to the work of the Blue Hill Heritage Trust. Since 1985, BHHT has been preserving the forests, waters, and trails of the Blue Hill Peninsula, protecting them for both wildlife and the community. Their Regional Trail Guide highlights miles of trails across conserved lands, offering access to quiet woods, scenic ridges, and breathtaking coastal views. Many of my images were created along these trails, where I’ve found inspiration in the stillness of the forest, the strength of granite ledges, and the beauty of Maine’s coastline. Supporting BHHT means ensuring that these places — and the inspiration they spark — will be available for generations to come.
